i'm not even going to go to that place where so many people go, in which they complain about how they liked a band before anyone else had heard of them, and blah blah, totally disregarding the reason why bands exist, etc. i'm just going to go ahead and say that this is hilarious. i was there to watch this performance of this song, as the band i manage was opening. basically, it was hilarious to watch hundreds of douche-y college kids waste a couple hours of their night to watch this band make a joke (one worth $15000 at that) of the only song that 98% of them were there to see. that is great.
speaking of douche-y college kids: if you haven't seen Borat yet, then you probably won't want to read this (but seeing that nobody really knows about this "blog" i don't see it as being a problem). i really love the part when those frat boys claim that they have been "humiliated." i think it's funny that it took a globally distributed film for them to realize that their lifestyles are "humiliating." the sad thing is that they will probably win their suit against the production companies in question, and make mad money. america...
here's a little treat from when my friends and i went to the Price Is Right. i'm happy to say that i've gotten to see bob barker live in person before he calls it quits. in order to celebrate properly, and to get closure to the day after having spent some 12 hours in line/taping, we decided to go over to bob barker's house and get a picture of bill after he won his boat.

speaking of bill, please go check out the Broke myspace, and to all y'all roughnecks in new york, head over to the Abrons Art Center (466 Grand St) on the 17th of Nov. as it is screening as part of the Lower East Side Film Festival.
yeah...
